Set Up Collection Point

We have collection points in churches, businesses, community groups, a gym, a rugby club and a nursery.

If you have a business, our back-up publicity will bring you added footfall but a Bags of Blessings collecting box in any club or community group shines a light on your willingness to help those who are less fortunate.

If you, your workplace, church or meeting have 1 square ft of space to take a collection box all you have to do is this:

  • Call us on 07821 589191 to give us your address.

  • From mid to late September onwards we will bring you a white collection box – we will be collecting right up until late November, so if you’re late to the party it’s no problem.  The box will be clearly labelled and we will bring some flyers and as many A4 posters as you need to advertise that you are collecting for us.

  • Place the box, posters and flyers in a prominent position and start spreading the word (the flyer will say what we need).

  • We will advertise your collection point on our website and on Facebook to bring maximum donations.  It would help us if you would advertise on our behalf on your own social media pages, too.

  • When your box is full give us a call and we will come and empty it, leaving it, if time permits, to be filled again.  We keep collecting until late November, or possibly the first week of December, depending on demand and some collection boxes are emptied many times.

  • We photograph at least one full box from each collection point and post it on social media to illustrate how successful they have been.  If you would prefer us not to do that it’s not a problem, just let us know.

  • In January, when all the donations have been wrapped and sent out, we will send you a certificate to put on display, thanking everyone and letting them know how many young people received bags of gifts.  Unfortunately, we won’t be able to tell you how many bags came from each collection point, but your customers, friends and associates will all know of the effort you put in to help us.
