Thanks to your efforts, our campaign to make Lockdown Activity Packs has been an overwhelming success. So far, we have filled 250 carriers with colouring/activity books, craft sets, stationery and a book. We have just taken delivery of sweets, so every bag from now on will have a little sweet addition. More carriers are expected very soon and we shall be packing another 250 kits ready to go out.
Soon we will be putting and Easter theme to the kits, so if you are still thinking of donating, Easter craft items would be especially welcome.
I want to personally thank everyone who has contributed. I have had some lovely doorstep chats with people dropping off their donations and have enjoyed learning a little more about the generous folk who bring or send us gifts – yes, Amazon have been kept busy, too. If you are shielding or isolating and use Amazon to deliver your gifts to us, please remember to purchase via Amazon Smile and they’ll donate a small portion of your total spend, at no extra cost to you.
