Fundraising is an ongoing issue and, with the onset of Covid-19 we had to postpone our Craft Fair and cancel all our appearances at Summer Fairs this year.
We had a full programme planned, with talks to community groups and stalls at community gatherings, but all had to come to an abrupt halt. Chris has been busy applying for grants and looking at ways to raise cash for our next major campaign and there are plans to reschedule the craft fair for spring 2021.
Hopefully, by next Spring we will all have become used to our ‘new normal’ and we will be able to take our talks and tombolas back out into the community. If your group is planning to meet up again, don’t forget that we have an entertaining half hour talk ‘oven ready’!
